March 29, 1904, Horatio Lawrence Arthur Lennox Maitland, a former Lieutenant in HMS Agamemnon, whose foot was crippled for life when he was wounded while serving with the Naval Brigade, died in London aged 70. He was a son of Sir Peregrine Maitland who had commanded the Guards at Waterloo.
